MVA with EMS Box Alarm in Buffalo Grove, 4-11-18

Last Thursday evening (4/11/18), a multi-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of McHenry Road and Lake-Cook Road in Buffalo Grove, resulting in quite a chaotic scene. Emergency services were immediately called in to manage the situation. One driver had to be extricated from their vehicle, and due to the severity of the incident, an EMS Box Alarm was activated to ensure that all injured parties could be attended to properly. In total, ten individuals were transported to nearby hospitals by ambulances dispatched from six different fire departments. The responding agencies included Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Palatine, Long Grove, Lake Zurich, and Palatine Rural FPD. Alongside the ambulances, fire suppression units from Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights, and the Prospect Heights FPD were also present at the scene to assist with the extensive cleanup and further emergency operations.
