Roberts Park recently acquired a used 2009 Seagrave Marauder II engine that previously served the Mansfield Fire Department in Massachusetts. This new apparatus will now replace Engine 303, which was originally known as Engine 31 and had a long history with Justice Fire Department as Engine 551 before being taken over by another department.
The 1993 Pierce Dash, which is now being retired, has been a reliable part of the station for many years. It's always bittersweet to see an old engine leave service, but it's exciting to welcome something newer and more modern.
Here are some photos of the new and old engines, along with a nostalgic look back at Justice FD’s original 1993 Pierce Dash when it first arrived. These images capture the history and evolution of fire equipment over the years.
Special thanks to Keith for sharing these great photos and memories.
