Roberts Park recently acquired a used 2009 Seagrave Marauder II fire engine that previously served Mansfield, Massachusetts. This new apparatus will now replace Engine 303 — formerly known as Engine 31 — a 1993 Pierce Dash that had a long history with Justice Fire Department as Engine 551 before the department was taken over.
The old engine, which has been a trusted part of the local firefighting fleet for decades, is now being retired and replaced with this modern Seagrave unit. The transition marks an important step in keeping the fire department equipped with reliable and up-to-date technology.
Below are some photos showing the new Seagrave engine, the old Pierce Dash, and a vintage image of Justice FD’s Engine 551 when it was first delivered. These images give a glimpse into the evolution of the department’s equipment over the years.
A special thanks to Keith for sharing these great photos with us!
