Body valve seat for the new butterfly valve advantages and disadvantages

Butterfly valves are widely used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, and hydropower for on-off control and flow regulation in pipeline systems. Traditional butterfly valves typically use rubber or PTFE as sealing materials, but their sealing structures often fail to meet the demands of high-temperature, high-pressure, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant environments. To address these limitations, advanced three-eccentric metal-sealed butterfly valves have been developed. These valves feature a single-piece valve body and seat, with a heat and corrosion-resistant alloy layer on the sealing surface. A multi-layer soft-seal ring is fixed to the disc, offering advantages like high-temperature resistance, easy operation, and reduced friction during opening and closing. The torque from the actuator enhances sealing performance, improving both reliability and service life. However, existing three-eccentric butterfly valves still face several challenges. First, when the disc is open, the medium can erode the soft seal, directly affecting its performance. Second, the thick disc structure makes it unsuitable for larger sizes like DN200, causing excessive flow resistance. Third, under counter-current conditions, the sealing force may not be sufficient, leading to leaks when the internal pressure is lower than the media pressure. To overcome these issues, a high-performance, two-way hard-sealed butterfly valve has been designed. This valve features a T-shaped multi-layer stainless steel seal on both sides of the seat ring, combining the benefits of both soft and metal seals. The sealing surfaces of the disc and seat are conical, with a heat and corrosion-resistant alloy applied to the disc. A spring is installed between the adjusting ring and the pressure plate, compensating for tolerances and elastic deformation caused by internal pressure. This design ensures reliable bidirectional sealing, even under extreme conditions. In positive flow states, the sealing pressure is enhanced by both the actuator torque and the medium pressure, resulting in tighter sealing. In counter-current scenarios, the spring provides automatic compensation, maintaining a tight seal even when the medium pressure fluctuates. Compared to conventional designs, this new butterfly valve offers superior sealing performance, longer service life, and greater adaptability. It is expected to replace traditional gate, globe, and ball valves in many applications.

Vibrating Screen

vibrating sieves, also called vibrating screen, circular vibrating screen, sand vibrating screener, are used to separate materials into various sizes for further processing or for end use. The material is separated by passing through a vibrating [screen or meshes" which has a number of different sized according to customer`s requirements. The end products can then be used in the building and construction industries. It feature advanced structure, powerful vibrating forces, low vibration noise, easy maintenance, high durability and etc.
