Recently, the China Classification Society (CCS) has granted the "China Classification Society Type Approval Certificate" to the 718 SCW series of marine domestic sewage treatment units. This marks a significant milestone for the 718 civil property project, as it is the first time that such a product has received official approval from the National Classification Society. The certification highlights the plant's capability and readiness for large-scale production of marine sewage treatment systems.
The SCW series was submitted to the CCS in September 2005 for evaluation. Following this, the CCS reviewed all technical documentation provided by 718 and formed an audit team to conduct on-site inspections. The inspection covered key areas including testing equipment, production processes, quality control systems, and the technical expertise of the staff involved. In addition, a type test was conducted on-site by the surveyor to ensure compliance with CCS standards.
After thorough review, on-site assessment, and product testing, all results met the required criteria set by the China Classification Society. Based on these findings, the CCS confirmed that 718 possesses the necessary facilities and capabilities to produce marine domestic sewage treatment units on a large scale. As a result, the CCS officially approved the type certification for the SCW series.
This achievement not only strengthens 718’s reputation in the industry but also opens new opportunities for expanding its market presence both domestically and internationally.
