Recently, the China Classification Society (CCS) has issued the “China Classification Society Type Approval Certificate†for the 718 SCW series of marine domestic sewage treatment units. This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time that a civil property project from 718 has received approval from the National Classification Society. The achievement highlights the company's technical capabilities and production standards in the field of wastewater treatment systems.
The SCW series marine sewage treatment devices were submitted to the CCS in September 2005 for type approval. Following this, the CCS conducted a comprehensive review of all the documentation provided by 718. An audit team was dispatched to evaluate the production facilities, testing equipment, manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and the technical expertise of the personnel involved.
In addition, on-site inspections were carried out by surveyors, who performed type testing on the products to ensure compliance with CCS regulations. All results from the review, inspection, and testing met the required standards set by the classification society.
Based on these findings, the CCS concluded that 718 possesses the necessary production capacity and technical conditions to manufacture marine domestic sewage treatment plants on a large scale. Therefore, the CCS officially approved the type certification for the SCW series, further solidifying 718’s position as a reliable manufacturer in the industry. This certification not only enhances the credibility of the company but also opens up new market opportunities for its products in both domestic and international waters.
