In this lively season, the 3rd Employee Representative Meeting of the Die & Mold Company was held on the afternoon of March 15th. During the meeting, the representatives listened to several key reports, including the administrative report titled “Dream-Driven, Crisis-Driven, Foundation-Based, and Leapfrogging,†a report on union activities, a summary of hospitality expenses in 2007, a safety work report for 2007, and updates on the status of employee representative proposals and training initiatives. The conference was chaired by Mr. Gan Zhongming, who ensured that all discussions were well-organized and productive.
In his administrative report, the General Manager reviewed the company’s achievements across various areas over the past year. He emphasized that 2007 was a milestone year for the company, marking the implementation of the 23 Plan and the establishment of Dongfeng Mould Stamping Technology Co., Ltd. in Wuhan—a long-sought goal for generations of mold workers. Under the leadership of the company, all departments and employees worked diligently to meet their targets, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Business performance reached record highs, with sales revenue surpassing 300 million yuan in 2007, following over 200 million yuan in 2006. The company also earned recognition, including the title of "Best Civilized Unit in Hubei Province," and made significant progress in management, technological upgrades, and Nissan modernization.
Looking ahead, the "Report" outlined the 2008 working plan under the "1422" action strategy: focusing on one center—quality and cost reduction; addressing four tasks—improving management standards, implementing operational standards, controlling physical costs, and managing manufacturing costs; making two improvements—enhancing product quality and work efficiency; one upgrade—raising the level of corporate management; and increasing customer satisfaction. The company aims to build a strong team culture and promote a shared set of values among employees, driving innovation and growth.
Mr. Yang Liqun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Labor Union, delivered an important speech, highlighting the accomplishments of 2007 and expressing gratitude to all employees for their hard work. He noted the company's achievements in building two civilizations, including awards such as "Best Civilized Unit in Hubei Province," "Model Worker Homes," and "Outstanding Supplier."
