On June 9, the first large-scale equipment of the 800,000-ton/year ethylene project in Wuhan—the lower section of the first extractive distillation tower of the butadiene plant, arrived at Wuhan Ethylene Heavy Duty Terminal from Zhangjiagang, marking the project entering the equipment installation stage. .
The first extractive distillation column of the butadiene plant was 78 meters long and weighed 230 tons. In order to carry out the lifting smoothly, the Wuhan Ethylene Project Department, Nanjing Large-lift Transportation Group Co., Ltd. and the Tenth Construction Company did a lot of preliminary preparations and formulated a careful lifting plan. The entire lifting process took 90 minutes.
At 5:30 pm on the same day, the lower section of the first extractive distillation tower of the butadiene plant was successfully suspended on the platform of Wuhan Ethylene Heavy Duty Terminal.
