The forward welding method has a preheating effect due to the advancement of the flame, the welding speed is faster, and a better penetration depth can be obtained. Therefore, the welding method is generally used for thin plates. (2) Right welding method. Also called back welding. When welding to the right, the torch points to the finished weld. The welding process moves from left to right and the torch moves in front of the welding wire. The back welding method is usually used for the welding of thick plates. The welding moves backward from the left end to the right side. The welding rod makes a circular motion on one side and follows the fire mouth forward. The welding torch moves along the welding line in a straight line.

Affects the weld slowly cooling. (2) Due to the concentration of heat, the angle of the steel plate groove during welding can be made small, and the shrinkage of the weldment is small, which reduces the deformation. (3) As the flame is facing the weld, it plays the role of tempering after welding, making it cool slowly, so the weld microstructure is fine and the quality is excellent. (4) High heat utilization rate can save the consumption of oxyacetylene and increase the welding speed. 5) The back-dip welding method is technically difficult, and it is not easy to work.
