The Dormont Safety System kit includes a 48" Dormont blue hose with a one-handed quick-disconnect fitting, designed specifically for the commercial kitchen, and is also NSF approved. The SnapFast® device that is included in this kit disconnects the gas flow for safe, easy maintenance and reconnects with a push and a click when it's time to clean your appliance and also has an internal thermal shutoff to prevent gas flow when the temperature inside the fitting exceeds 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The hose features a 304 stainless-steel corrugate tube, which is covered with a tightly weaved stainless-steel braid, and the outside of the connector is coated in blue antimicrobial PVC. Which prevents the growth of bacteria and mildew. Stress guard rotational fittings are also put in place on the ends of the connector to allow for a 360-degree rotation, which reduces the stress at both connector ends.
