According to the latest production and marketing news, from January to November 2014, the export value of China's auto parts was 58.869 billion US dollars, an increase of 8.39%. In the first 11 months, the cumulative export value of China's auto goods was only 76.356 billion US dollars, and the export volume of auto parts accounted for an absolute head.
In the export of auto parts last year, the export volume of auto parts, accessories and body still accounted for half of the total, reaching 32.119 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.18%.
Engine exports also achieved double-digit growth, sales reached 341,000 units, an increase of 10.07% year-on-year, but the export value growth was lower than sales, only 1.535 billion US dollars, an increase of 6.7%. Exports of automobile and motorcycle tires declined significantly. The annual export volume was only US$13.957 billion, an increase of 3.02% year-on-year. The export value of other automobile-related commodities was US$11.258 billion, up 5.27% year-on-year.
If the import and export of automobile vehicles last year was "in" and "out", the import and export of parts and components showed a double growth, and the growth of imported parts was better than the export situation. According to the data, from January to November, China's auto parts imports amounted to 34.245 billion US dollars, an increase of 12.67%. In addition to the decline in the engine sector, other sectors have seen a higher growth. The engine imports were 740,900 units, down 0.13% year-on-year, and the import value was US$2.052 billion, down 5.46% year-on-year; while the import volume of auto parts, accessories and bodywork was US$28.73 billion, up 13.6% year-on-year; the import volume of automobiles and motorcycle tires was 657 million. The US dollar increased by 4.17% year-on-year; the import value of other automobile-related commodities was US$2.806 billion, an increase of 21.76% year-on-year.
From the export data from January to November last year, there were not many bright spots in China's auto parts exports in 2014. Overall, the product structure of the export did not change much, the added value of the export products did not increase significantly, and the proportion of the four major export sectors did not change significantly. It can be seen that there are many export enterprises, and there are not many fundamental changes in the low-end, low-quality and low-priced products.
