Guizhou Tire Exports Break Through $50 Million in a Single Season

On December 25, 2012, the reporter learned from the Guizhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that the tire has become the highest value export product in the statutory inspection export products in Guizhou.

According to statistics, from January to November 2012, Guizhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau had tested batches of 1,084 batches of tires exported to 1,504 million, valued at US$255 million, which was an increase of 12.8%, 15.2% and 12% respectively year-on-year.

After the inspection and quarantine fees were waived in the fourth quarter of 2012, the Guizhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau intensified its assistance to tire exports. As of December 15, a total of 681 batches of tires were exported and 342,000 were inspected, with a value of 53.557 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 45.5%, 51.1%, and 38.4% year-on-year, respectively. The export value of Guizhou tires for the first time exceeded 50 million U.S. dollars for the first time. It is estimated that the export value of Guizhou Tire will reach 70 million US dollars in the fourth quarter of this year.
