Futian Auman No. 2 Plant Put into Production in March, Beijing Huairou Builds the Largest Heavy Trucking Base in China

On March 14th, 2011, at the Beiqi Futian Auman Heavy Trucks in Miaocheng District, Huairou District, Beijing, workers were busy debugging equipment and trial production and stepping up their work for final acceptance at the end of March. According to reports, after the completion of the Futian Auman II Plant, Huairou heavy trucks will have an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles and will become the country's largest heavy truck production base.

Futian Auman No. 2 Plant is located in Miaocheng Township, Huairou District, Beijing. It has an investment of 2.6 billion yuan and covers an area of ​​495,000 square meters. The assembly shop has the longest total assembly line in China. The factory can increase sales revenue by 23.6 billion yuan each year, increase profits and taxes by 1.07 billion yuan, and directly employ 3,000 people.

The heavy trucks produced at Fuman Auman No. 2 Plant are all equipped with advanced new energy technologies, and have six categories of core environmental protection and energy-saving technologies: waste gas re-use, natural gas synthetic oil, new material frame, intelligent control and remote service, and are exported to Europe and America. The international model built by the market as a standard can meet Euro IV and Euro V emission requirements and has the potential to upgrade Euro VI. In the future, 70% of them will go abroad and go global.

In order to establish an industrial chain for the automotive industry, Huairou District, Beijing is bringing in more than 300 auto parts companies nationwide to settle in. While meeting its own development needs, it can also provide auto parts manufacturers in North China. In addition, environmental protection and non-pollution supporting projects such as Foton Logistics and Beiqi Holding's parts industrial base will also be launched one after another. The scale of automobile manufacturing in Huairou District is rapidly expanding.

During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, Beijing will use the automobile industry functional area as one of the five major functional areas to be built in Huairou District, centering around the heavy truck plant, cultivating and developing new energy vehicles and related industries, cultivating large-scale auto parts and components groups, and building an automotive logistics base. To realize the clustered development of the automotive industry, improve the automotive industry chain, and build a functional area for the automotive industry, and strive to build an important pillar of the development of the automotive industry in Beijing and a demonstration functional area for the development of the national automotive industry through five years.
