Only J6 heavy trucks have created sales achievements of annual sales of more than 60,000 units, and have firmly consolidated the market position of heavy truck sales, becoming a benchmark for sales and value in the heavy truck market.
During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, FAW Group will fully support the liberation of new product development, resource allocation, and system capacity building, maintain market advantages, further increase the trial production of dump trucks and special vehicles, actively expand the liberating J6 product line, and improve marketing capabilities. , enhance competitive advantage and enhance brand value. FAW Jiefang will comply with market demand, expand the market share of heavy trucks, and increase investment in 11L and 13L products. At the same time, it will promote the replacement of medium-sized vehicles and increase the market share of special vehicles. For the J6 platform products that are currently selling well in the market, Liberation will successively introduce new technologies such as AMT and new braking systems, and upgrade them to further enhance the handling and energy-saving of J6 products. We will strive to increase our sales volume by 280,000 units in 2011.
Concerning the continued rise in sales volume and the capacity issues that have been plagued by problems, FAW Liberation signed a contract with the Chengdu government on December 21, 2010. FAW liberated 100,000 commercial vehicle projects and settled in Chengdu's Xindu District, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. In the future, it will be strengthened in the “Five Plants of Four Places†of Liberation Chengdu, Changchun, Dalian, Wuxi and Qingdao. â€
For the 12th Five-Year Plan, China FAW will invest RMB 19 billion in R&D on the basis of RMB 12.91 billion in the 11th Five-Year Plan. By 2015, China FAW will have more than 4 million units of auto sales, of which autonomy will exceed 50%; According to the product plan of China FAW during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, FAW Liberation will receive more comprehensive independent research and development support. In 2015, J7 will launch a new and evolving technology platform product, which will be further enhanced and applied in power, economy, reliability, safety, and automotive electronics applications. In addition to the advantageous models of FAW's liberation, it will deploy special vehicles in the future and invest in research and development of tank trucks, dust cars, etc. to fill the gap in the field of FAW liberation.
