Recently, W?rtsil?-Hamworthy has received the contract from the Brazilian shipyard Ecovix-Engevix Constru??es Oce?nicas SA to deliver inert gas generators for eight FPSOs. The first two units will be fully tested at the Moss plant prior to delivery and are expected to be delivered by the end of 2012, with the rest expected to be delivered by January 2015. Each unit is 7.5 meters long, 6 meters wide, 7.5 meters high and weighs about 45 tons. It is dual fuel mode and is equipped with a Control System, diesel-gas fuel system and power distribution including VSD starters.
