Using Chemical Fertilizer to Control Pests and Diseases

The use of chemical fertilizers to control diseases and pests of agricultural and forestry flower crops not only reduces the harm caused by improper use of pesticides, but also effectively promotes the growth of crops. It is a safe, economic, and effective method. Now we will introduce several commonly used chemical fertilizers as follows:

Use urea, ammonium bicarbonate, ammonia to kill insects. All three ammonia fertilizers have strong volatility and have irritating, corrosive and fumigating effects on pests. In particular, control effects are particularly good on spider mites such as spider mites, leafhoppers, aphids, and thrips, which have small size and weak endurance. Such as using 2% urea solution or 1% ammonium bicarbonate solution or O.5% ammonia solution, when the flower pests occur outside the root spray, spray every 7 days or so, even spray 2 to 3 times, pest control The effect is good. The use of 15 to 25 kg of ammonium bicarbonate and farmyard fertilizers per acre plant nursery mixed into the ridge bottom can reduce the hazard rate of earthworms and other underground pests by more than 80%. Herbal flowers topped with 20 kg of ammonium bicarbonate per acre can also greatly reduce the harm of underground pests such as small ground tigers. Ammonia can also kill snails, cockroaches and other pests.

Phosphorus fertilizer can kill insects and sterilize. Spraying cotton with 2% superphosphate solution can drive away spawning bollworms and kill cotton spider mites, cockroaches and other pests. Spraying tomato with 1% superphosphate also has a significant effect on the prevention of umbilical rot.

Silicon fertilizer can resist pests. When fertilizing the agricultural, forestry and flower crops, silicon-calcium fertilizers are mixed in. When the crops absorb silicon, they will accumulate in the epidermis cells of the crops, forming a very hard epidermis layer, making it difficult for pests to invade, thus enhancing the resistance to pests. In particular, applying calcium-silicon fertilizer on herbaceous flowers has better insect resistance.

Grass ash can be used to kill insects. With 10 kg of grass ash mixed with 50 kg of water and soaked for 24 hours, the filtrate is sprayed to effectively control the aphids on fruit trees, crops and flowers. Potassium in plant and tree ash can also enhance the lodging resistance of the crop, enhance fruit trees and The wind resistance of flowers. Such as adding appropriate amount of trichlorfon in the grass ash, will increase the contact of the drug, fumigation, and improve the killing effect of aphids, red spiders and other pests. In addition, spraying the tomato plants with 500-fold potassium dihydrogen phosphate can prevent mosaic virus. Spray cucumbers with 0.2% boric acid solution to control cucumber downy mildew;

Drug fertilizer insecticide. With 1% urea plus 50% dichlorvos EC or 40% imidophos EC spray, you can kill red spider on cotton, flowers, and other pests. Use ammonium bicarbonate 3.8 kg and ground into a powder of 0.5 kg of copper sulfate. Mix well and add 1 kg of lime. Mix in a container or an airtight plastic bag to close the copper and ammonium powder after 24 hours. Shi, not only can prevent fungal and bacterial diseases, but also play the role of top dressing.
