Soil pollution - the main type of soil pollutants

With the development of bio-technology, more and more people are concerned about the biological field, we began to recognize the important role of biotechnology in protecting the environment and agricultural production. Biotechnology not only relates to the sustainable development of agriculture, but also relates to the human living environment and food security. The quality of human longevity and the environment very closely, no doubt, to agricultural production and the use of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides and other chemicals will greatly increase, and with the development of industrial, toxic pollutants continued to spread. As a result, it has caused tremendous adverse effects on the environment such as soil, water, and air.

As we all know, the important resources that soil loses human life and survival are irreplaceable environments. Therefore, protecting the soil and the environment and giving full play to its beneficial effects on human beings have become the top priority for all sectors of society. However, the greatest threat to soil resources comes from soil pollution and overexploitation. Arbitrary discharge of waste water and solid wastes, and the large-scale use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, may cause chemical pollution of the soil, thereby destroying the structure and properties of the soil.

There are several types of pollutants in the soil:

1. A lot of pollutants, such as excessive application of phosphate fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer;

2. Inorganic pollutants such as lead, copper, cadmium, zinc, nickel, chromium, cobalt, mercury, and fluorine;

3. Non-pesticide contaminants, such as industrial products and wastes, urban sewage and sudden chemical events;

4. Pesticide residues and their pollutants, such compounds include pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and acaricides.
