Problems of Paying Attention to Foliar Spraying Urea

Urea as top-dressing fertilizer is better than other nitrogen fertilizers. However, when spraying, we must pay attention to the following questions:

First, do not spray in hot weather or before rain, so as not to burn seedlings or lose fat. The spraying time is appropriate every morning or afternoon, and sprayed once every 7-10 days.

Second, when cereals or smooth-leaved crops are sprayed, add 0.1% of an adhesive (such as washing powder, wash and clean) and so on. Otherwise, the effect is not good.

Third, for spraying urea, biuret content can not be higher than 0.5%, high content for top dressing is easy to damage the leaves.

Fourth, the different types of crops require that the concentration of spraying urea solution is also different, the general requirements of cereal crop spraying is 1.5-2%, in the spraying period, the concentration is even lower. The spray concentration of leafy vegetables and cucumbers is 1-1.5%. Apples, pears, grapes and other fruit trees are suitable for 0.5%. Tomato with 0.3% is appropriate.
