National Bearing Industry Transformation and Upgrading and Industry Status Analysis

Recently, the national bearing industry carried out the industrial transformation and upgrading plan and the "three basics" (mechanical basic parts, basic manufacturing technology and basic materials industry) planning work conference held in our district. Based on the analysis of the status quo of the industry, the conference started the research and discussion on the new advanced shaft sealing technology of “bearing-free”. The meeting was hosted by the China Bearing Industry Association and Yuhang District Government, and organized by the Auto Parts Industry Association and Hangzhou Ideal Plastics Co., Ltd. More than 50 representatives from the top of the national bearing industry attended the meeting and discussed related issues. Zhu Zhenwei, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and deputy head of the district committee, and the person in charge of the Planning Department, Equipment Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Provincial Economic and Credit Commission attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

China's bearings have formed a large economic scale. However, due to the contradictions and problems in the development mode, industrial structure, independent innovation, and brand construction, there is still a big gap with the world's leading bearing country. The meeting believes that the development of China's bearing industry is focused on transforming the industry's development approach, emphasizing the transformation of technological foundations, especially original technologies, and actively developing high-quality, high-energy, and highly-efficient products.

At present, the company's products are widely used in various industrial fields such as automobiles, industrial motors, and wind power. In yesterday's meeting, Ideal Plastic was awarded the title of "China's Most Bearing Sealing Technology Enterprise."

Zhu Zhenwei welcomed the guests attending the meeting. He said that at the moment, Yuhang is focusing on the "industrial Yuhang" and "innovating a strong district" to develop the real economy. In Yuhang’s economic development, the industrial economy is the foundation, and the equipment manufacturing industry is an important one. With the transformation and upgrading of the industrial economy, the requirements for the development of the equipment manufacturing industry, especially high-end mainframes, have been increasing. Bearing industry companies have much to offer. He wished bearing companies to win more business opportunities, and he also hoped that entrepreneurs would visit Yuhang for more and make contributions to Yuhang’s economic transformation and upgrading.
