The official did not specifically disclose which models, but said that some mid-range and high-end models will be the first to introduce a plug-in hybrid version. At the same time, Audi also announced that they will launch a variety of pure electric vehicles, the official claims that these models will have high storage performance batteries and powerful electric motors, so that there will be no compromise in terms of cruising range and applicability. According to the current news, these high-performance electric vehicles will include the R8 e-tron and the Q6 e-tron. The Audi R8 e-tron is likely to debut in 2015. It will be equipped with two electric motors. The maximum output power is expected to be 381Ps (280Kw) and the cruising range can reach 450km. For the SUV/crossover model, the new Q8 and Q6, which are positioned to cross-border sports SUVs, will also launch the e-tron version of the high-performance electric vehicle.
