Three foreign petrochemical companies increase PS price

BASF has announced that it will increase the price of polystyrene products in Europe, raising the price by 100 euros per ton. Dow Chemical (EP&I) also decided to raise the price of epichlorohydrin starting from October 1st, raising prices in Europe by 80 EUR/t; in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Indian sub-continent, raising prices by 150 USD/t. In addition, the price of allyl chloride in Europe is increased by 50 Euros/tonne. In another note, Dow Chemical will increase the price of glacial acrylic acid, butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and methyl acrylate products from October 1st, or according to the contract.
