Shantou Jiangling Auto Dealer is set to host a press conference at Jinhuangcheng Hotel, where the brand’s first wide-body light truck, the Jiangling Kai Rui, will officially make its debut. Known for its focus on high-end narrow-body models, Jiangling has now expanded its product lineup with the launch of the Kai Rui, a wide-body light truck designed to meet evolving market demands. The company has invested significant effort into this new model, ensuring it stands out in terms of performance, safety, and comfort.
**A New Benchmark in Efficiency**
Efficiency is a top priority for light truck users, and the Jiangling Kai Rui sets a new standard in this area. It is equipped with the 4JB1 electronically controlled high-pressure common rail Euro III engine, offering a maximum speed of 115 km/h and an impressive fuel consumption of just 8 liters per 100 kilometers. The chassis features a reinforced, through-type, riveted structure, enhancing its load-bearing capacity. After three years of development and over 2 million kilometers of localized testing, the Kai Rui proves its reliability and durability—something few competitors can match.
**Enhanced Safety Features**
The chassis of the Kai Rui was developed jointly by Ford and Japan’s Isuzu, featuring a frame-type design with widened dimensions and a 2mm thick vertical beam. Following rigorous localization tests, the vehicle has demonstrated stable performance over six months. Its center of gravity is 20–30 mm lower than competing models, significantly improving stability and safety. The design also incorporates a dual bumper system: the outer layer is made of highly elastic plastic (150mm thick), while the inner layer uses high-strength cast steel. Additionally, the vehicle comes with a three-sensor reversing radar, reducing blind spots during parking.
**A New Level of Comfort**
The Jiangling Kai Rui is the most comfortable wide-body light truck currently available. It includes features such as remote-controlled locks, a breathable sunroof, premium audio systems, and a single-chip CD player, all aimed at reducing driver fatigue and enhancing the driving experience. The air conditioning system can cool from 55°C to 19.5°C in just 20 minutes or heat from -18°C to 20°C quickly. The cabin is also exceptionally quiet, thanks to a joint development with Japanese experts and the use of a Holm Hertz Resonance Chamber. Combined with the Isuzu 4JB1 engine, internal noise is reduced by 15%, making it one of the quietest trucks in its class.
