1. This pump is a fundamental component for evacuating sealed vessels. It can be used independently or as a forepump for booster pumps, diffusion pumps, and molecular pumps, or as a holding pump in a vacuum system. It's ideal for laboratory use due to its compact size, light weight, and quiet operation.

2. The pump can operate continuously for extended periods at temperatures ranging from 5°C to 40°C, with an intake pressure below 1230 Pa. If the gas contains more than 90% moisture, the gas-ballast valve should be open.

3. The pump must not run for more than one minute when the inlet port is fully open to the atmosphere.

4. Not suitable for pumping oxidizing, toxic, explosive, or corrosive gases, or gases that react chemically with the pump oil or contain dust particles.
