A fire was reported at 5812 N Oriole, Still and Box. The incident involved a single-story structure with a heavy fire load from the contents. Two adults were transported to the hospital in critical condition due to smoke inhalation. The victims are believed to be a couple in their 60s.

EMS Plan One was activated for the incident at 5812 N Oriole, Still and Box. Two individuals were taken from the scene by emergency responders.

The Chicago Fire Department responded to an alarm at 5812 N Oriole, Still and Box, under EMS Plan One. Firefighters were seen working on the scene, with one unit climbing a ladder to the roof where flames were visible.

The fire at 5812 N Oriole appears to be a serious incident involving multiple emergency services. According to reports, the structure was fully engulfed, with heavy fire loads from the interior. Firefighters were seen working quickly to contain the blaze, while paramedics attended to two individuals who suffered from severe smoke inhalation. The elderly couple, estimated to be in their 60s, were taken to local hospitals in critical condition. Tim Olk captured a powerful image of firefighters using a ladder to reach the roof, where flames were clearly visible. This shows the intensity of the fire and the level of effort required to bring it under control. While no casualties have been confirmed yet, the situation remains urgent as crews continue to work on the scene.
