Non-loaded body

Vehicles with a non-loaded body, also referred to as a chassis frame, feature a rigid structure that serves as the foundation for the entire vehicle. Unlike monocoque designs, where the body itself provides structural support, this type of frame is separate and acts as the main load-bearing component. In non-load-bearing body vehicles, key components such as the engine, transmission system, and body are mounted onto the frame using suspension systems. This setup allows for better isolation between the body and the road, improving comfort and handling.

The frame is connected to the wheels through front and rear suspension units, which help absorb shocks and maintain stability. These types of bodies are generally bulkier and heavier compared to unibody constructions, making them more suitable for larger vehicles. They are commonly used in trucks, commercial vehicles, and off-road jeeps due to their durability and ability to handle rough terrain. Some high-end cars also adopt this design because it offers improved stability, safety, and ease of maintenance.
