Delphi continues to lead China's parts industry

At the end of 2003, Delphi decided to invest 50 million U.S. dollars to establish its first development center in China in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in Pudong New Area, Shanghai: Delphi China Science and Technology Research and Development accommodates more than 500 employees and will develop components for customers around the world. At the same time, Delphi China attaches great importance to local talent training. In 2003. The Delphi-Tsinghua Automotive Systems Institute has trained more than 15,000 people. The Delphi Power Propulsion Department will successively send more than 60 engineers to the United States for training for six months to one and a half years to strengthen China's development capabilities.
