This thin oil lubrication system is specifically designed for static and dynamic pressure film bearings in mills, as well as other machinery that uses similar bearing systems. It utilizes N220–N320 extreme pressure industrial gear oils or similar lubricants. The system works by creating a static oil film at startup, low speed, and shutdown using a high-pressure pump. Once the machine reaches operating speed, the dynamic oil film takes over, and a low-pressure pump supplies the necessary lubrication to maintain liquid friction.
The equipment is a complete unit, consisting of an oil tank, low-pressure pumps, high-pressure pumps, duplex tank mesh filters, oil return magnetic filters, oil coolers, valves, piping, and a control cabinet. During normal operation, one low-pressure pump is active while the other serves as a backup. The system includes functions such as filtration, heating, cooling, and safety protection. It supports automatic control with optional PLC or relay control, and DCS interfaces are available for integration with larger control systems.
