China's first self-developed, manufactured and integrated large-scale automatic press system for press robots was recently put into use in Shandong Rongcheng Huatai Automobile Co., Ltd.
According to the person in charge of Rongcheng Huatai Automobile Co., Ltd., this automated stamping production line was developed by Jinan No. 2 Machine Tool Group. At present, 20 robotic pick-up devices of the production line have been commissioned and started to work, including left and right side walls of the car, various doors and other components. Automated production is achieved. The press part of this production line consists of a multi-link 2000 ton press and three 1000 ton presses. The automated feeding system is the first to use the internationally widely used six-axis punching robot. This makes the whole line more intelligent and more accurate.
At present, the automobile industry is increasingly characterized by large-scale production, individualized models, multi-model co-line production, large-scale body parts, and integration. This development trend puts new demands on the high efficiency, high precision, flexibility, full automation and safety of the stamping line.
