Ship/ Vessel/ Boat Floating Marine Rubber Fender

1. Floating Marine Rubber Fender is a high-performance protective device made from synthetic cord-reinforced rubber with compressed air inside. This allows it to float on water and serve as a buffer during ship-to-ship (STS) transfers and ship-to-dock (STD) operations. These fenders are essential for preventing damage caused by collisions, ensuring the safety of vessels and infrastructure. Floating marine rubber fenders offer excellent energy absorption while maintaining low surface pressure on the ship’s hull. Evergreen Maritime offers two types of pneumatic fenders based on internal pressure: - **Pneumatic 50**: Initial internal pressure of 50 kPa - **Pneumatic 80**: Initial internal pressure of 80 kPa

3. Types of Floating Marine Rubber Fenders
There are two main types available: A) Net-Type Fenders: These fenders are covered with a protective net made of chain, wire, or fiber, often with additional rubber sleeves or tires for extra protection. B) Sling-Type Fenders: Designed without a protective net, these are lightweight and easy to handle, making them ideal for quick deployment and use.
