Corrugated Metal Hoses are highly flexible and designed to absorb significant movements. These hoses are ideal for tight spaces where other flexible solutions may not work. The hoses allow for movement caused by thermal changes in the system or mechanical vibrations from pumps or compressors that use flexible mounts. Manufactured as a convoluted tube, corrugated metal hoses are typically reinforced with a wire braid. The core is made from stainless steel or nickel alloy sheets, featuring either annular or spiral corrugations. In some applications, a multi-ply structure may be used. The braid provides structural support against pressure and prevents the hose from expanding under internal pressure. For high-pressure environments, multiple layers of braid are added to enhance the hose's pressure resistance.
