Calumet City FD antique

This is from Brad Steinweg:

I was in the TF South auto body class during my junior and senior years. In my junior year, we helped the CCFD restore their 1914 American LaFrance fire truck. While cleaning up my computer, I found an old photo album and thought it would be nice to share some of the pictures with others who might appreciate them.

This project was a real hands-on experience for all of us. It wasn’t just about learning how to work on cars—it was about preserving history. The CCFD really appreciated our help, and it was rewarding to see the finished product. These photos are a small part of that journey, but they capture some of the hard work and dedication that went into restoring this classic piece of fire department heritage.
